I worked all my life, took care of my dependants, bought a house etc. A few months ago I was struck down with an illness that could have left me in need of constant care. I was lucky but if I hadn't been the state would have taken my house and most of my assets to pay for my care. Fair enough but I would have got the same care as those who have never worked a day and sponged of me and the state all their lives. That isn't fair and it needs to change.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
