(Of course, it's also a "paranoid thriller" like "X-Files"-- Caviezel is former military/CIA who's now "in the wind," Emerson is a former Government defence contractor now "off the grid," and the two coppers they work with, and through, have morally ambiguous back-stories-- and they all have to watch their backs at all times.)
