Shit Back in Anger

I’m disappointed by Jeremy Clarkson. Not because of what he wrote – many people wish far worse on that sorry excuse for a duchess – but by his apology for causing offence. As many people before me have written, the right to cause offence is a pillar of freedom of speech. In fact in Britain the right to freedom of speech was expressly carved out by the right to say what you wished to public figures.

I’m not saying that the gruesome twosome have no right of reply, although I doubt that either of them has the wit to so do. But the famously secretive couple, who wish nothing more than to be left alone, in quiet, contemplative solitude to make documentaries, give interviews and write books about their supposed ill treatment really do deserve all of the opprobrium heaped upon them.

They are vile. They are immature, squealing, spoiled infants trying to get nanny sacked for putting them to bed at the prescribed time. Mewling ingrates who scorned the riches heaped upon them and demanded more. Violet Elizabeth Bott wouldn’t even come close in an entitlement contest, and Clarkson was damn right to express his repulsion for the woman we all had to be told was black before we were able to be properly racist about her.

Of course, the so-called ‘liberal left ‘have been all over it as if he had actually committed the physical offence of showering her in shit. The hypocrisy of it all is astonishing. Those self-same, self-regarding champions of freedom were all for Jo Brand’s right to wish Nigel Farage had acid thrown in his face, or Nish Kumar’s unfunny (unfunny is all he’s got) appeal to kill your Brexit voting parents. And it’s fine, by all accounts, for people like Miriam Margoyles and Philip Pullman to wish death on Boris Johnson.

Clarkson should have either remained silent in the face of demands for appeasement, or else doubled down and written more of the same in his next column. Was it his lawyers, do you think? Or was it his own daughter writing that she was ashamed at what he had penned? The very appeal of Jeremy Clarkson – for those to whom he appeals; he’s a bit ‘Marmite’ to the rest – is that he dares to tread on ground that other authors fear.

James – the Holy Christmas Miracle – O’Brien was all over it on his show this morning, in the same episode in which he also discussed Tom Watson’s elevation to the Lords, as if the pair of them had not been deep down the Carl Beech rabbit hole. Little Jimmy was all too ready to acknowledge the wrong done by Watson, while never mentioning his own contribution to the affair. What loathsome worms inhabit the left of politics.

The crappiest couple... ... in the world.

But backing down is no way to deal with their immoral, illiberal war on what a person may think or say. In the face of such ridiculousness as, say, Critical Race Theory, or Trans-rights trumping women’s rights, we should all be capable of raising a hearty belly laugh and adding our own drop of dung to the mix. The ex-royal couple did not hesitate to shit on the Royal Family from as great a height as they could scale; why should we not shit back in anger?

Finally!

Katie Hopkins and LBC have parted ways. The malicious left are, in their loving, caring, kinder politics manner, gleefully infesting social media with group hugs, tears of joy and hopes that she dies in agony, from bottom cancer or suchlike. Of course, the vile Hopkins is guilty of the most nauseating, most violent, most despicable of modern offences and she has brought censure on herself. Stalin, Mussolini, Pol Pot... such despots always meet a sticky end, love triumphing over hate when they are strung up by a baying mob.

What did Katie do to attract such opprobrium? She dared to articulate what millions feel they cannot. She voiced the genuine feelings of a majority who are not cowed by political correctness and a fear of denouncement. She stood up for reason in a world which seems devoid of it at times. And she faced down the howls of knee-jerk demands to silence her from the very quarters engaged in suppression of freedoms in the west. And she will be back, because she’s right.

After many years of proposed solutions to the problems caused by an effective submission to islam in the west. After years of ‘nothing to do with islam’ uttered by political clones after every atrocity claimed in the name of the prophet (pieces be upon him). After the inanity of vigils and silences and voices raised against the aggrieved instead of the aggressors, she simply said what many, many people want. An end to it all. Finally. A final solution to the islamic problem. There, I said it too.

The very thing that the islamists want to deny us, up to and including life itself, is our freedom. Time after time after time, they have declared that they see us as less than them. They will have us as slaves, or not at all. They say they hate us they say they want us dead and I say they have the right to say these things. I welcome their openness; it makes everything so much simpler. They want us dead, we want them gone, finally.

Jeremy Corbyn can use terror all he likes, he can blame all of terrorism on the actions of former western governments and he can openly consort with whoever he wishes. Isn’t that the mark of a free society? But what is sauce for the goose, must also be at least a blob of relish for the gander. All calls for suppression of speech must be resisted; one man’s rallying cry is another’s hate speech. I say we should be able to call a spade a spade and not get arrested for racism because of it.

Yes, I accept that this means some people, especially young, radical peace warriors, might have to hear language of which they disapprove. Yes, it means that some people may be so mortally offended they may have to take to their beds. And of course the Penny Reds and Owen Gays and Jon Snowflakes and Jobby O’Briens might have to suffer being pointed at and mocked some more but it’s a small price to pay. It’s either free speech or officially approved speech; which would you prefer?

The Speech Poleeth dithmitheth uth...

The worshippers at the shrine of Saint Indignatio know no bounds in pursuit of offence, choosing – nay, being compelled – to elevate any opinion they don’t like to the level of a personal, vindictive and material threat to their own existence. To the devout a holocaust denier is not some deluded, hate-filled loner, refuse to be convinced by the vast archives of recorded evidence, but is somehow become a violent criminal, to be dealt with exactly as if they had entered one’s home and held a knife to one’s throat. To not have and vocally express sympathy for the Hillsborough victims is a hate crime so extreme that in return they must suffer very real physical threats.

Even daring to disavow the lukewarm throwaway aphorisms ‘children are the future’ and ‘everybody is equal’ and ‘the Tories will sell ‘our’ NHS’ can bring a level of opprobrium upon you so extreme that you may never seek gainful employment under our own name again. Indeed there are some who would set up and compel the errant to sign some form of ‘Hate Offenders Register’ for any verbal or written expression which contravenes some self-appointed, holier-than-thou, guardians of free speech ‘as long as it agrees with our opinions’. The peddlars of such sanctions seem to belong exclusively to the club of left-leaning talking heads whose very living appears to derive from confecting such offence.

Thus it is that Katie Hopkins is once again taking flak from the mischief makers who are so sensitive as to be unable to bear the pain of mere words even from the safety of their desks, even defended by their nuclear word warrior keyboards. The Society of Black Lawyers (There is, of course why no Society of White Lawyers) has deemed one person expressing opinions, however disagreeable, as incitement to racial hatred. It is, of course, nothing of the sort; agree with her or not, Ms Hopkins incites nothing but a cry to common sense. The world is a harsh place and if you can’t make it work for you, it isn’t for others to make it so. Tough, as they say, shit.

I will defend to the death..?
The Speech Police strike again...

Meanwhile, on the Twitter, another crêpe crusader has donned its mask and utility belt and in the guise of a mighty ‘troll-hunter’ has been steadily stalking anybody agreeing with the views of La Hopkins and helpfully linking in the Met Police to the incoherent howls of rage in their replies. What has to go so badly wrong with your own life that you feel the need to set up new accounts purely to spread the poison you say you so greatly despise? Those throwing such stones may just want to check what the walls of their houses are made of… and the Society of Black Lawyers might want to look in the mirror before they make complete twats of themselves… again. (They may want to smile if they are looking in dim light - now how racists is THAT?) (PS: No you fuck off!)

Pressing On

Pssst!

Wassat?

I got a story... what's it worth?

Can't say... what's it about?

Daren't say.

Okay... If I print it, will anybody go to jail?

Maybe.

If anybody were to go to jail... would it bring down the government?

I've said too much already. This could get me killed.

When you say 'me' who do you mean?

You'll have to guess.

Can I quote you on that?

No.

News Today. A judge, whose name might rhyme with Ryan Meveson may have proposed a change to the way in which press freedom is controlled... or not. I really couldn't comment. The rest of this story has been censored edited while the authors are being hunted down for clarity and then lined up against a wall and shot and accuracy the dirty, lying, low-life motherfuckers. Thank you for your patience. Die you journalist scum.

And now fuck off the weather...
