It Don’t Matter

The abject morons at Black Lives Matter have managed to lay the blame for the death of the young black man Tyre Nichols, at the hands of five black policeman, in black majority Memphis, on white supremacy. A BLM spokesperson said “‘He mattered to everyone, except those upholding state-sanctioned violence and a dangerous cycle of white supremacy.’ Exactly where is all this white supremacy and where can I get my share?

Councils ‘decolonising’ street names, universities rewriting their own, entirely white, history as black history, principally featuring oppression and slavery, government departments pre-emptively banning words for fear of offence. Putting statues on trial! These are yet more ways in which basket-case Britain slips further from relevance on the world stage. This is not a serious country; a democracy in which the will of the people is not consulted and the tyranny of the ultra-minorities holds sway.

But maybe we are seeing some small signs of pushback. The renaming of Black Boy Lane in Tottenham, even after investigation found no racial connotations in its history, was met by residents displaying the former – correct – name in their windows and on graffiti. Student idiocy over race is now routinely received with rolled eyes and mocking grins. And governments, such as the pretend one in Scotland, are learning that to kow-tow too low to the insane trans demands is not a vote winner.

But it’s going to be an uphill struggle as the teachers, having been infiltrated by Marxist equality of failure since at least the nineteen-sixties, are now on their fourth generation of indoctrination. It is one thing to detach a child from its parents’ malign influence, quite another when the teachers’ teachers’ teachers’ teacher was an all-out, card-carrying red. And it is the same in the police, the judiciary, the civil service and government. Politically correct inanity as far as the eye can see and the ear can hear.

Burning it to the ground appears an attractive proposition, but with many seeing a vote for the hapless and inept Reform as the way ahead, the razing is going to have to wait. The change, if it comes at all, will not come from above but from below. Teach your children well, find schools with teachers who can be trusted – here’s a hint; maybe not the ones who are striking today. Do what working class parents used to do and instil a sense of ambition and pride in success through your own efforts.

For what it’s worth, lives are not equal and don’t matter equally; we all know this. The entire equality nostrum is a crock which has brought far more harm than good. So stand up for the principle that you should be judged for your actions, not for your skin colour. Be judged by your achievements, not by your beliefs. Take the rap for your failings and admit your mistakes. Stick to what you know is true, not what the idiots tell you, or else the idiots win. Try harder, that’s the only thing that matters.

The Racing News

You knew this was going to happen, didn’t you? The ‘African Queen’, Ngozi Fulani, so deeply wounded by Lady Susan Hussey’s interest in her ancestral origins, turns out to be a fraud. Born of Caribbean immigrants in London and christened Marlene Headley, she later adopted the teachings of the race industry and graduated from SOAS – the London college renowned for churning out prominent activists obsessed by skin colour.

Like Shola Mugabe Umbongo and Behind-you Andrews, the products of SOAS seem hell bent on finding offence where none is intended and invent micro-aggressions to feed their outrage. Susan Hussey was only asking exactly what Marlene has spent her own life asking. Maybe she was more affronted because she actually didn’t know the answer. Given the context of the event, “no, where are you really from?” seems to be an entirely reasonable question, especially as the supposed ‘charity’ she was representing is very clear who its clients are – abused white women need not apply.

Representing herself as a proud child of the dark continent and prominently sporting a Jamaican headband, and especially having espoused her African origins so deeply, why didn’t she answer the original question with the response any reasonable non-race-baiting grifter might have offered in such company? “I was born in England, my parents came from the Caribbean, but I have adopted an African name to show my proud heritage” would almost certainly have elicited a delighted response. “How marvellous, my dear. Tell me all about it.”

But that would be entirely contrary to the purpose of this, just the latest in a prolonged and very deliberate attack on whiteness. For all her protestations – she has been all over the airwaves talking loudly about how she didn’t want to cause a fuss – the whole thing has played out perfectly. Ask who you are not allowed to criticise, said Voltaire, and you will know who rules over you. And we get it: white supremacy, bad, but how does that make black supremacy good?

How safe do you feel now, Whitey?

Sistah Space, the charity runs by Ms Headley doesn’t just go to bat for abused women of colour, it also runs courses to train white people in ‘cultural competency. Because, yes, it is white people who are the problem. Just imagine the headlines if a white charity ran courses in ‘how to leave the machete in the jungle’, or ‘please don’t rape her just because she’s white’? It’s all gone far too far and it is high time we learned not to pander to the critical race theory mob. Back in your box, Marlene.

War on White

The announcement of the continuance and expansion of the Stormzy Scholarship – a bursary scheme for black applicants to Cambridge University has, predictably, aroused questions over whether such a scheme for exclusively white applicants would be even legal. When Prof. Bryan Thwaites offered a scholarship in 2019, to give white boys from deprived backgrounds a chance to gain a better education in elite schools, he was turned away. The excuse was that his offer was not inclusive; well neither is this.

Mr Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Junior might believe he is solving a problem. But, in reality, he is exacerbating one that a certain sector of society has been fuelling for decades now. The proliferation of schemes exclusively for the benefit of ‘ethnic minority’ applicants has been clearly visible for some years. So-called diversity hires are not about equality, nor inclusion, nor proportionate representation. Just as the hard left successfully infiltrated the institutions, this new and disturbing variation will implant anti-ethnic-British thinking throughout the organs of state.

Ever since Britain practically bankrupted itself to abolish slavery, certain parts of our ‘intellectual’ ruling class have wrung their hands in angst, the sense of white guilt pervading all and eventually permeating throughout society. Now we have a broadly appeasing national sentiment where, for many years now, white people in authority have gone out of their way to ensure ever more opportunities for non-whites to fully participate in British society. The whip hand, to use Enoch Powell’s term, has been stayed and open palms presented in supplication instead.

Year on year, generation on generation, Britain has become possibly the least racist nation on Earth. We have been open and welcoming and in the determination to further the life chances of black and brown skinned people have neglected our own. Progressive education has left the white boy behind, a conscious decision by those who think they know so much and understand so well. Ours has been a mission of sharing. But just look how it has been received.

I’m not sure we expected thanks, or any particular expression of gratitude, but the response to – and I’m not afraid to say this - our generosity has been far from that. The old expression “give them an inch and they’ll take a yard” could not be more apposite. Not good enough, they insist, as they form into their own societies and exclude whites. The multicultural experiment has ended up where many said it would; monocultural ghettoes and the exclusion and disadvantaging of the indigenous.

Many will argue that this is merely a redressing of the balance, but that is simply incorrect; those who are now disadvantaged played no part in historic oppression. The Trojan horse has been brought inside the walls and now its occupants are set on sacking Troy. I look with dismay at the glee on non-Conservative faces as they look forward to our first black or brown Prime Minister, and celebrate every instance of the blackwashing of our history and institutions.

"Looks like Enoch was right"

Of course, I am a hideous racist for saying this. But I know I am not in a tiny reprehensible minority; many people fear for what comes next. Future generations of white children are almost certainly going to learn what racism really is. And if, as the black activists and scholars insist today, only those in power can exercise racism, tomorrow is looking very bleak indeed for anybody with any skin colour which identifies them as ethnically British.
