Getting Tired?

It seems such a shame that we have to go over this ground again but seeing the news that Poland is reducing its retirement age, while we are progressively raising ours warrants comment. Now, we’ve always loved the Poles; we’re a lot closer to them in many ways than we are the French, the Italians and the incomprehensible garment-rending Germans. The Polish are patriotic, level headed and highly allergic to leftism, much like we used to be before politicians decided that the vote to chase was that of the helpless children.

So, while Poles have been doing the right thing and looking after Number One and migrating to the UK for better earnings, to then send money back home to keep their families and help their country, Britain has been engaged in a bit of garment-rending of its own. And, of course, once in the UK you can expect – nay you can demand – all that is due a British citizen. Thus all you need do is get here, plead hardship and the jolly old British system will rob its own to pay you to stay.

At least that’s how it looks to the indigenous Brits who see the segregation and ghettoization of communities who will not integrate – and where is the evidence that it is otherwise? The reaction of peaceful people is not to take up cudgels to but to budge over; white flight is a natural reaction to seeing your home territories turned into wastelands of neglect and overrun with the alien. It is not racist to want to live as you have always lived; even Trevor Phillips is now dismayed at how his Commission for Racial Equality was used to further an apparent agenda of population replacement and demonise all who raised concern.

Far from immigrants ‘paying the pensions of the lazy British’ we now have to work longer into old age to pay for the vast majority of minimum wage immigrants and their families in Britain. Why? Because we have been fed a steady diet of bullshit to facilitate that descent into serfs. We have been told simultaneously that the young British are workshy and that they deserve better. Instead of training our own and educating them to enter the workforce at an appropriate level we have told them they should go to university and amass debts they will never repay, gaining qualifications of little merit.

We have lowered and lowered school grades to maintain an appearance of attainment while managing somehow for our school leavers to be way down the league table in every subject. How can the English be 37th in the world in... English? How can the nation which gave the world engineering produce so few engineers? How can the nation which gave the world science produce whole cohorts of school leavers who can’t even spell physics?

A graduate speaks...

The conspiracy theorists will say that this is a deliberate dumbing-down of the population so that we can obey a One World Order directive to flood the white nations with brown people and create a single universal mixed race. That is way too complicated and more than a little bit deranged. What has really happened is that over several decades our politicians have fallen prey to the idiot notions of equality and diversity and have pursued short-term policies to achieve those outcomes, oblivious to the harm they have done.

This is why Brexit. This is why Trump. And the panicked reactions of western governments to now try and suppress free speech, praise infantile left wing activism and deny, deny, deny all the harm they have done is because they are blind to the simple realities of the ‘uneducated’ (unblinkered) masses. Instead they are in thrall to their own delusions of competence and deal with the cognitive dissonance of facing reality by repeating their mistakes over and over again. The solution to the destruction that mass immigration has wrought is more mass immigration? We live in interesting times.

Certifiable Madness

"I’m not insane; my mother had me tested.” So says fictional physicist Sheldon Cooper. Whatever your opinion of The Big Bang Theory, it’s still both funny and evocative of an intuitive prickle most of us must have felt at some time. Are we mad? And how would we tell? Madness takes many forms and can lead us in many directions. We use it as an excuse for both genius and for great wrongdoing. And we frequently accuse our leaders of it for decisions that we, sane, grounded people would never take.

The celebration of religion is a form of mass insanity shared by countless millions of those who consider themselves enlightened by it, but seen by the rest of us as burdened by the weight of maintaining the biggest conspiracy theory of all time. God must move in mysterious ways indeed for there to never have been a single scrap of evidence for ‘his’ existence, for him to hold so many, weirdly antipathetic forms and yet to be advocated by multiple powerful and costly global bureaucracies. As Voltaire may have said, if god did not exist it would be necessary to set up a government department to collect his taxes.

Religion is the original protection racket; pay now and seek your reward in the hereafter. And worse than that, it divides us and foments violence; it always has. So you would think that a sane administration, a government of the people for the people, would want to promote unity, not division. Maybe this is the warped thinking behind paying the islamic protection racket tax, jizya, traditionally levied on non-muslims living in muslim territories? Halal certification is nothing more than the imposition of taxes on the host nation to assist in its assimilation into the wold of islam.

Now, you may have guessed by now that I am an unrepentant atheist; no mealy-mouthed bet-hedging agnostic, me. In my book, if you truly believe in the existence of a higher power you are certifiably unfit for any office and you certainly should have no role in shaping the minds of the young. But my upbringing, at least in broadly cultural terms, is christian; a religion which – like all others - is merely a temporary appropriation of all that preceded it. And right now, the thing the christian world celebrates is the festival of fecundity we call Easter.

Like ramadan, it is a moveable feast and similarly it is the high spot of the christian calendar, being the time at which the miracle of supposed re-birth is remembered. So why are christians required to pay islam the halal tax to purchase chocolate eggs (themselves already a travesty, anyway, being a celebration of consumerism instead of resurrection) which most manufacturers are scared of even calling ‘Easter Eggs’? And it’s not just confectionery; halal is everywhere, it is virtually unavoidable. Why is this pervasive insult to all non-muslims not resisted with all our energies?

The parable of when Jesus paid his jizya...

Do they think we are mad? Do they think we don’t see? A country which fails to defend its borders, its customs and its people is not worthy of the name. But time after time we see this failing by those who rule over us - and those who aid and abet them - to roll over and let islam set the agenda. They seem to think that by kow-towing to the ‘needs’ of the ‘religion of peace’ will bring harmony, when all the evidence of this pestilential cult tells us the opposite. Based on the Einsteinian definition of insanity – doing the same thing over and over in the hope of a different outcome this time – they must be fucking mad.

Still busy

I'm a bit confused; it's all moving so fast.

I mean, what in the name of 'dafuq' is going on here?

As far as I can grasp, from spasmodic interaction with the world outside my monastic cell (in which I am rewriting physics itself, it seems) Jeremy Corbyn has had an affair with Stormy Weather in the White House while Donald Trump and Uncle Vlad have been trying to thwart Brexit through the medium of climate change.

Meanwhile, the Parliamentary Labour Party have all crossed the floor and are preparing to vote against allowing refugees from Africa - specifically white South Africa - into the country for cheating at cricket, or something. And I'm sure the polar bears were mentioned somewhere.

Also, something about passports.

I don't know quite what to think any more...

Sorry, busy

Just a quick note for my three readers:

I've been busy; I'm not dead yet. (Could you tell the other two, if you see them?)

Anyway, some form of service will be resumed when I bloody well feel like it! 😀

Poking the Bear

There’s a mood in the air; the smell of ‘had enough’. After decades of trying to tolerate an uneasy peace, where anything goes and no deviation from former norms must be challenged, maybe the tide is beginning to turn. I grew up in a world where there were rules and it was a far easier world than today. You knew who to associate with and who to avoid; people generally kept company with their own and stayed within the broad confines of the law.

Not for nothing is the dog ‘man’s best friend’ for, like canine-kind, people co-exist more easily when they know where they fit. Order is more comfortable than chaos and while you may disagree with your master’s decisions, it is often simpler to follow orders than to give them. But the last thirty years have seen a rapid erosion of order and a dissolution of boundaries whereby the rules seem to change on a daily basis.

Who is the enemy? Seriously, a big part of social cohesion is knowing who you are with and who you are against. For example, are you British, or are you a pan-European, non-gender-defined, faux-libertarian, socially fluid, non-aligned citizen of the new world order? Do you define your own liberty by the degree to which you discomfit others? Is your insistence on living what you perceive (today) to be your own unique and nebulous identity - and demanding special consideration for same - actually helping?

Rebelling is fine. We all do that at some time. But you have to have something to come back to; a tribe, a place, a national identity. What do you tell your children they are? Because if you don’t tell them somebody else will – and has been doing for some years now. There has been a reported rise in mental disorders and antisocial behaviour, strongly correlating with a general breakdown in social order and the rise of the ‘me-me’ protest industry. It can’t be totally unrelated.

So, actually, yes, I welcome the reaction to the Russian poisoning business and I suspect Parliament does, too – at least it distracts the gaze away from the muslim rape gang issue for a while. Uniting against a common threat is often the catalyst for crystallising where your priorities lay and for the majority that is signalled by a resurgence of patriotic self-preservation. Some will receive rude awakenings when they discover their pet preoccupations are no longer indulged by the wider public.

And still others, like Jeremy Corbyn yesterday, will discover that their sloganizing, patronising, dismissal of principles that many still hold dear reveal them to be part of the problem and not part of the solution. Do I think Russia did it? How could I? I have no access to the evidence. Do I think that the NATO alliance (not the EU; this has nothing to do with the EU) suddenly deciding a line has been crossed and coming together against a perceived aggressor is going to solve the moral decline of the west, re-align our priorities, re-set our sensibilities and re-energise our national spirits? Maybe not, but perhaps it’s a start.
