Diversity built Britain?

Hard on the heels of yet another barbaric muslim atrocity and the insistence by the close muslim community that these devout followers of islam are not real muslims, the Chancellor announces with some degree of pride a new 50p coin bearing the words ‘Diversity Built Britain’. Not content with that simple lie, he then states in a tweet: “I have seen first-hand the contribution made by ethnic minority communities to Britain’s history.” That would be all the fantastic ethnic historical figures of the last 40 years, then?

This is what propaganda looks like and it is bolstered by the continued presence in the broadcast schedules of the likes of Ash Sarkar and Yasmin Alibhai-Brown and the grotesque Kehinde Andrews and Shola Mugabe Umbongo from SOAS, banging the race drum for all they are worth. Yes, they may be making black British history now, but none of it is helpful; it is just a non-stop demand for special treatment and unearned reparations. There can be no statues to celebrate their divisive actions.

It seems there is no position so extreme that the BBC will not give it oxygen, unless that position represents a white viewpoint. Whatever the topic, time should not be devoted to giving the majority view. Where is the balance? Where is the platform given to people who espouse personal responsibility and don’t forever demand that the government bows down before them? Important debates are not being had; important voices are not being heard.

I haven’t watched BBC Question Time in an age and not just because it airs a mere five hours before I get up to go to work. I have also tuned out of the weekend politics and discussion shows because they demand I spend far too much of my time listening to people with whom I profoundly disagree. Now, you may say, one ought to give ear-time to those with whom you disagree, the better to understand their argument and perhaps to empathise with their world view.

Fine, but why is the same tolerant patient demeanour not expected of them? It is okay for them to call me a Nazi, to insist that I live a life of hate, that I am a racist who despises all people of a different skin colour. But where is the condemnation of them when they blast me for the colour of MY skin? Hypocrisy is too weak a word; we need a new one to describe this prolonged attack on ordinary, decent, working people. This has been going on for decades now and every time somebody gets close to having a platform to air a contrary but no less valid viewpoint, they are screamed down.

Katie Hopkins, Darren Grimes, Roger Scruton, Douglas Murray and plenty of others have been de-platformed. Hell, even Germaine Greer was deemed insufficiently acquiescent to woke mobsters. What Alibhai-Brown said to Laurence Fox on Jeremy Vine’s show the other day would have had a nominal right-winger exposed to the might of the Crown Prosecution Service. What Darren Grimes said in exasperation some years ago, in the face of the extreme remain faction trying to overturn a democratic vote, has been held up by Femi Oluwole – yes a-fucking-nother one – as tantamount to inciting violence.

As I said, hypocrisy doesn’t begin to explain how some people get away with what would be a crime if aimed at them. The organised left, then, actually get to engage in violence and vandalism, with their never-ending assault on public decency. They get to exercise their right to protest with police protection while the police are deployed to whip up and then suppress those who exercise the same rights to different ends.


There is something sick about a society in which the majority view is regularly held to be the wrong view and those espousing it are regularly demeaned as bigots and fascists. And now, of course, Brexit is back on the menu. This means that the overworked insult ‘gammon’ is enjoying a whole new resurgence. That’s right, a term based on skin colour and used blanket-style to cast a majority sector of society as pantomime villains in jackboots. This is what diversity has built; and it has built little else.

Creating a Monster

I'm not convinced that men marrying men is an answer to anything very much. I'm also not convinced that trapping people on welfare by paying successive generations more than their unskilled labour will ever be worth is a kind thing to do. And the one-way conveyance of human rights without in return insisting on corresponding responsibilities seems to me a strategy for failure. Thus children born into perpetual welfare can breed to increase the underclass with the certain knowledge – if such people can said to actually be sentient – that there will be no price to pay. At least, no price for them to pay.

But it all has to be paid for, this wonderful egalitarian utopia we supposedly all want to see. And as always it is those who can get by under their own steam who pay the most. I’m not talking here about the very wealthy who earn so much that even punitive tax rates mean they retain their unassailable status at the very top of the tree. Nope, it’s those who can’t afford to insulate themselves from the ruinous outcomes of the policies pursued by our current leaders who pay the highest price.

The young working families who have to struggle to live cheek by jowl with the idlers they pay for, because they can’t afford to live anywhere nicer; daily going out to work, making hard choices about spending, family size, childcare and paying the regular bills while next door, the twenty-four hour party people rub their noses in the choices they make. How easy it would be to jump into the workless void, except the workers believe they can create better chances for their children and maybe, one day, retire to somewhere more civilised. And a bit quieter.

Instead of listening to those voices – voices whose opinions ought to carry more weight than those who vote to stay aboard the gravy train – the government repeatedly comes up with bunkum such as ‘plugging diversity gaps’. Throwing money at enforcing more ‘diversity’ means less money for plugging the gaps in the breached dams of education, law and order, civic amenity and silly little things like flood defences. The more uncomfortable and unsettling diversity is pursued the greater the discontent of those who pay for it, so is it any wonder that bigotry rises in direct proportion.

Opposition to things that cause fear and unfairness is normal, yet the establishment response has been to ignore the fears, plough ahead with the project and engage in the rhetoric of ‘anti-racism’ to browbeat those who object. Odd, isn’t it, that when the declared intention is a harmonious nation of infinite variety and equality, that there is a deliberate policy to quash the indigenous, much as invading forces have subjugated peoples in the age of the conquistadors. To render the fears of the majority irrelevant, make those people a minority.

Is it any wonder, then, that Donald Trump, for echoing the views of his supporters is suddenly branded inhuman for suggesting what sane voices have requested for decades? When you try and make a Frankenstein state by badly stitching together incompatible parts of other states, with no thought to the treatment needed to avoid rejection of the donor organs, what other final outcomes do you expect? When the untidy stitches of multiculturalism dissolve the scars will still be there for all to see. If Trump is a monster he is a monster created by the warped orthodoxies of socialism.

Demos be joking!

The migration figures were out yesterday. Even the painfully high, record one-third of a million net immigration hides the much larger figure of double that for inward migration only. Over 600,000 means that our non-British-born population is increasing by 1% every year (if ‘official’ total population numbers are not wildly under-estimated). Twice as many coming in as going out; think about that. Then consider their make-up.

Those coming in come to make a living from the British economy and no matter how loud the rhetoric that this is a marvellous thing it is a simple fact that sub-£30k workers will always cost more in demand for services, housing and general infrastructure than they pay in tax. Those who come for a short period don’t integrate and those who come from certain world sub-cultures will never integrate. The proportionately few who genuinely pay for themselves and cause no harm would have been able to come anyway and would have been welcome. The rest; well look around you.

Watching your neighbourhood change before your eyes may be a joy to behold if you have swallowed the line that immigration is a natural good. You probably also believe that nationalities are a construct of racist ideology and that all people are of equal worth to society, that every possible variant of gender identity is exactly as ‘normal’ as that held by 99% of humans, that money is shit out by magical rainbow unicorns and Tories hate everybody so much that they would rather see their own children die than put a single penny into the NHS. You may well hope for a Jeremy Corbyn government even, heaven help you.

But what of those leaving the UK? Some of them, it is true, are returning to their own countries, having made their pile, no doubt to start businesses, start a family, etc... good luck to them, but they are still net takers. Others are going back as broke as they arrived having made little difference but, hey, no hard feelings. Some are no doubt a small number of working Brits seeking their fortunes abroad? For all the pleading that, look, we do just the same as ‘they’ do, relatively few Brits go off to do entry-level work abroad; being a waiter in Romania or a labourer in Poland does not pay – ask those who come here to do that work.

That leaves me to consider the rest of those leaving these shores; the natural born Brits. How many are retirees going off, not to contribute but to simply make their British pensions go further? How many are business owners who have shut up shop and cashed in to retire early and become economically inactive in Britain? You may say good, they are also exporting their health concerns, but it’s far more likely those who have problems will stay in the UK for the NHS alone. It has to be a consideration that we are losing some of our best and a glance at our inner cities could leave you with no other conclusion.

Soon – within a generation maybe - you who remain will have no idea what an Englishman ever was; they will be historical relics. Long dead will be the fighters we used to honour, but now denigrate, on Armistice Day and hollowed-out husks will be those who still remember them. The real shame is that they believed in and fought for a flawed ideal; democracy. True democracy can never work in a multicultural society with ideals as disparate as the backgrounds they come from, but it is due to notions of ‘representative’ democracy that we have such a society.


There is a lie that diversity itself produces success whereas the truth is that success attracts and tolerates diversity. For too long our governments have pursued the fallacy and ignored the facts. But the true facts of yesterday’s immigration figures are yet to be fully analysed and accepted and it is doubtful that the authorities on all sides even want to know the truth as it appears to the displaced, the demos, the bulk of voters. And who needs facts to get in the way of election campaigns anyway? Even were the raw data available in a form capable of being rationally scrutinised, the vast majority of those with a ballot would be incapable of drawing meaningful conclusions. Our ‘representatives’, as ever, will decide and they already did, decades ago. On Fridays I normally post a joke. Are you ready for the joke? Here it comes: Democracy.

Diversity Challenge

Well, if you didn’t see it the second round of the Dear Wee Nicky Clegg versus Nasty Bigot Adolf Farage was an absolute hoot. An hour of pure joy as the oh-so-sincere Clegg rattled off ad hominem attack after spitty little insult after snidey remark in a bout which, to my mind he’d lost before the first question had even been posed. His opening address telegraphed his entire limited fight plan and every single response sounded like a scripted attack on Nigel Farage’s personal values. He rarely answered a question without obfuscation and evasion; at times he looked distinctly shifty and otherwise behaved like a petulant child.

Whoever had advised him had clearly decided – from the sanitised bubble in which the media hacks and politicians alike dwell – that the instincts of the already racist British public must not be allowed to be further tainted by UKIP’s hateful bigotry. A shame then that they utterly failed to read the genuine concerns of a huge proportion of the great unwashed, most of whom have the vote and who are fed up of being lied to. It was irrelevant whether they intend to vote for UKIP or to vote to leave the EU, should we ever get the long clamoured-for referendum. Nigel Farage may not be the answer to the country’s future, but he is the only politician presently asking the perfectly reasonable question; what the hell did you lot do to my country?

When the cosmopolitan elites take their delightful nuclear families away to far-off lands to immerse themselves in another culture they come back invigorated, fizzing with joy at Poppy’s rudimentary grasp of the local language and little Hugo’s newly acquired taste for an obscure artisan cheese dish which they simply MUST try and replicate for their next dinner party. But then the disappointment sets in as they discover that among the three hundred and seventy four cheeses available at their local Islington delicatessen, Bokmakiri isn’t one of them. And none of the ignorant serving girls behind the counter can indulge Poppy with an authentic Kiswahili greeting. Why, they declare, then we must bring the world here.

The world, of course is delighted by the offer – they have heard of our streets paved with gold and have met the grand British vacationer and seen his inquisitive generosity at first hand as they sold them newly-minted artefacts at heavily inflated prices. Also, when they get to England they will no longer have to subsist on bloody buffalo cheese but they can gorge on pizza and chicken tikka masala and dress in suits and jeans and tracksuit bottoms. And no longer will they have to have families of seventeen or cook around an open fire at the side of the road. They can become British!

No, no no, say Adam and Evelyn, no, you must not sacrifice your culture, you must bring it here and dance for our amusement. You must bring your clothes, your customs, your late night noisy street life, your smells your vendettas and your seventeen children and never change – don’t go changing. You must build your own churches, run your own shops and erect your own shanty town community centres. Planning permission? No problem. Integrate? Oh, you don’t want to be British – they are nasty, parochial, racist people.

In fact, so abhorrent are the white working class that you must come here and overwhelm them in reparation for what they did to your country; all those ugly roads and railways, all that sordid commerce. Come here and show them how it is to be a true citizen of the world. And don’t worry, they will move aside and give you jobs and school places and houses and interpreters and we will curb their simmering resentments for they are too ignorant to understand, as we do, that culture is important. So important that you must never lose yours… while theirs, loathsome, tiny-minded and based as it is on hatred and fear, must be utterly eradicated.


Of course, Clegg’s big schtick was based on his own peculiar sentimentality for the wondrous diversity we have in Britain today, as if Britain’s inclusion of every other part of the world wasn’t already diverse enough without more white Europeans. But have you ever noticed how diversity is too good to be left to the ‘ethnics’? It’s been a one-way street; while change must be foisted on Britain to make it ‘better’ our rulers appear to insist on incomers maintaining their monocultural ways. This is what ordinary people resent; the notion that politicians know best what is good for them. The only nose being rubbed in diversity last night was Nick Clegg’s.

Bonkers Broadcasting Corporation

Needs must when the devil drives, as they say and times is hard. I’ve decided my not inconsiderable talents are wasted in the private sector so I might chance my arm and put in my CV for this job at the BBC.

What do you think? Right up my street, yes? I may have ‘edited’ the following just a tiny wee bit, in order to make the language more accessible and the true purpose of role itself a little clearer:

A politically motivated editorial understanding is essential along with extensive practical knowledge and experience of how diversity can be rubbed in the noses of the right within the TV production environment.

Diversinetiks

So there I was, happily engaged in my pretend intellectual antidote to all those awful reality shows, killing the time between Andrew Marr and The Daily Politics by idly watching Sunday Morning Live, when it suddenly came to me. I’ve got it all wrong. Everything; my entire world view is just… wrong.

Simon Fanshawe stated that instead of hiring the best man/woman for the job, you should hire for diversity. He justified that because ‘research’ showed that companies with diverse workforces were more creative and thus more productive, recruiters should forget about competence and instead rely on their conscience. Their conscience of course, having been infused with the established, soothing, lentilly mantras about the inherent goodness of divers thynges.

Hmmm, chicken and egg, surely? Are diverse companies successful, or do large, successful companies with worldwide trade naturally become more diverse? And anyway, diversity for its own sake cannot be automatically good. Should every football club be compelled to field teams with at least a proportion of the players being selected more for their abstract thinking than for their footballing skills? Or should we insist the fashion industry be represented on the catwalk by, say, 10% of models being selected from the morbidly obese?

You can’t just legislate for diversity, no matter how much the likes of Fanshawe insist. If, for instance, your trade was an Indian restaurant I doubt very much that anybody would dare to insist you employed sullen white teens to diversify your enterprise and inject a bit of spice. In fact you’d probably get a flash mob of grievance-for-hire protesters demanding you be allowed the right to discriminate and employ as many illegal immigrants as you could smuggle in. Such is the moveable feast of diktat.

Anyway, I Googled Mr Fanshawe and his Wikipedia entry has him down as a comedian, media luvvy and general gob for hire – in other words a career (and an honour, no less) based on un-provable opinion, baseless claims from spurious research and general, all-round frippery. Nobody cares for facts or instinct or common sense any more – that sort of knowledge is given away freely wherever you look and in the world of commerce, politics and vested interests if it doesn’t cost a packet it must be worthless. As Lord Ashcroft said this morning on the radio, in politics, perception IS reality.

The apparent logic is that it is far better to pay for expensive studies, carried out by earnest sociology students to reach predetermined conclusions about what people want than to actually, you know, ask people what they want. Much more effective to throw tons of money at a problem that may not exist, creating millionaires from the extracted taxes of people with no say in how their money is spent than to, you know, ask people whether they actually want what you’re making them pay for.

All these years I’ve been stupid enough to believe that making something and selling it for more than it costs to make, yet at a price the market will bear, thus yielding a profit from which I can take a wage, leaving funds to reinvest in more of my industry was the right way to make a living. But why not cut out the uncertain parts of that process – the sourcing of materials and fabrication of the products – with all the vagaries of prices and labour and competition?

No, sod that; I could just sell ideas. Better than that, I could sell people’s own ideas back to them; become a one-man think tank or pollster or even better, become an ‘expert’. And it works; in the face of little or no evidence, I could create beliefs, from which I could profit. Just like the ‘experts’ have done with global warming, management consultancy, psychology, homeopathy, the EU and the cult of celebrity. As an expert I could garner state funding for research with which to engender beliefs that could influence policy and divert yet more funds to my cause. I smell the diesel scent of the gravy train.

From spurious beliefs was conjured up the rag-tag army of militants to spit at, shout scum and generally harass ordinary, sincere people attending the Conservative Party conference. By ramping up the rhetoric of ‘suffering’ a multitude can be called on to protest, convinced that living within our means is now cruel hardship. And despite more and more money being thrown at a poorly managed state behemoth, the same mob believes the NHS is at greater risk from the Tories than from the party that managed to spend the entire country into ruin.

Diversity - the same old shit, repackaged

So, I reckon I’ll have some of that. Coming soon, my learned papers on Aromapolitics, Homeosocioversity, Diversinetiks, Politicorrectity… Whole new ways of thinking; of creating synergistic solutions for the uploading of axiomatic conversations about the interconnectivity of life systems and wellness, of cyber-societal satisfaction… There’s a whole new world to pay for. And boy, will you pay for it…

Diversify or die?


The phrase ‘diversify or die’ used to be a watchword for many a businesses in the nineteen-eighties. For the United Kingdom of the two-thousand-and-teens maybe it should be rewritten as diversify AND die? Because the latest census shows us what many have been seeing for years, that if you live in certain areas you already feel you are not only a minority but an oppressed minority. 

An acquaintance of mine was recently offered, in return for a favour, a reduction in his business rates on a tap of the nose because of a 'contact in the council'. I need not tell you that those involved in the scam would not exactly describe themselves as White British on the census forms. In fact the number who do so has declined steadily and with that decline goes much of the decency and fairness for which Britain used to be known.

If you had left these shores in, say, 1955 and arrived back here today you would imagine you’d ended up in a different country and you would be correct. A very different country. In 1961 the estimated population was 45 ½  million. The notion of breaking this down by ethnicity was obviously ludicrous as non-white British accounted for around 200,000 or less than half a per cent and virtually all of them were from the Commonwealth – in other words we knew who they were; friends and allies.

You welcome friends and allies, but you keep at arms length those you mistrust, misunderstand, fear or despise. Once upon a time you had to go to North Wales for the language to change as soon as you entered an establishment. Now it's an everyday occurrence and sometimes no concession at all is given to the Lingua Franca. In fact there is no longer a common language; You might just as easily encounter Bengali,  Silheti, Panjabi, Gujerati Hindi, Turkish, Arabic, Nigerian, Somali, Greek, Portuguese, Tamil, Kurdish or Albanian. Meanwhile those involved in the race industry speak a combination of Pidgin, Double Dutch and Gobbledygook to justify their actions and quell any objections and you have to hate me now for writing this, because in that language of the brainwashed I am a foul, despicable and deluded racist. That's how far the progressive agenda has brought us. Any dissent is expressed as unreasonable resistance to rational change, anything more than a muted shrug is called racism and so heinous a crime is it that telling the truth can land you in jail. Thank you Tony Blair.

It is said that over 250 languages are spoken in London, making the capital the most linguistically diverse city in the world. Not one of those is the language of common sense that speaks up for the displaced and reveals unchecked immigration for the folly it is. Our current circumstances are down to an act of sheer treachery by the former government to engineer the political makeup of the country and “rub the Right’s nose in diversity”.

A few statistics from the latest census tell us a story of simple invasion:
  • Nearly 3 million people in England and Wales live in households where no adults speak English as their main language.
  • In London, one in three people was born outside the UK.
  • White British people are now in a minority in London.

The problem, for problem it is, has been long recognised by those who have to live with it and it is time for the truth to be told and valued. We can’t reverse the damage done but we can surely see as a falsehood the former multicultural mantra of diversity and integration and recognise the reality as Diversity and Disintegration?

Meanwhile David Cameron's party is in uproar over gay marriage.
